As one of the largest and fastest growing full-service plumbing and drain cleaning companies, Mr. Rooter Plumbing has more than 230 locations in the US, with an estimated 1,419 service technicians nationwide. Despite its continuous expansion, Mr. Rooter remains committed to its mission of exceeding customer expectations in workmanship and always taking great care with strong attention to details. The company called upon Moblico to further solidify their CRM efforts, as well as establish deeper relationships with their customers.

Moblico launched a unique mobile coupon program in which offers were presented to existing and new customers, while at the same time building Mr. Rooter's contact database.

How Moblico Worked for Mr. Rooter
Moblico provides integrated mobile offerings that allow companies to acquire, retain, transact and support customer relationships. As a company that has many representatives who work directly with consumers, Mr. Rooter had a goal of creating a stronger relationship between the Mr. Rooter brand and its customers. Moblico designed a mobile-based communication program in which customers texted the code "OFFER" to "ROOTER", signing them up to receive special promotional offers specific to their area's Mr. Rooter franchisee.

Mr. Rooter representatives invited customers to join their program while calling to confirm service appointments. The agent then entered the customer's mobile phone number into their integrated interface, which triggered a coupon for that day's service to automatically be delivered to the customer's phone.  Once the service engineer arrived, the customer simply showed them the coupon on their phone, entitling them to the discount.

Moblico enabled Mr. Rooter to grow its contact list, as well as leverage mobile to offer instant customer value.
