Background
Self-described as "original, traditional and exceptional," Zepi's Pizza & Pub is a Missouri-area Italian restaurant that is considered a local favorite. As part of its involvement in the community, Zepi's sponsors the Leawood Lacrosse Club. Additionally, Zepi's advertising includes placing ads in regional publications. Looking to creatively boost the return on its marketing investments, Zepi's called upon Moblico.

Uniting both the sponsorship and magazine efforts, Moblico launched a mobile program that enabled Zepi's to directly provide both the lacrosse players and magazine readers with a "call to action" for purchasing and other promotions.

How Moblico Worked for Zepi's
Moblico provides integrated mobile offerings that allow companies to acquire, retain, transact and support customer relationships. For Zepi's, Moblico created a mobile coupon promotion that capitalized on the Leawood Lacrosse Club's membership database, as well as the print ad featured in a recent issue of a popular regional magazine.

To kick off the sports team promotion, Moblico sent a mobile coupon code to the 100 Leawood Lacrosse Club members that offered a free large, single topping pizza for in-store diners. Additionally, the message contained a link to a mobile site that helped customers locate the restaurant.

For the Zepi's ad in regional magazine, Moblico converted the ordinary ad into an interactive mobile coupon. By texting the keyword "STIX", people received a unique code that entitled them to free breadsticks for their next dine-in visit to the restaurant. 

With both mobile programs, Zepi's is able to track the effectiveness and trends of its efforts in real-time, helping to determine how the activities fit into the over business strategy, as well as make adjustments to the promotions while they are in progress.
